Roboderm® is a unique technology in the world capable of generating Multi Microbubble Stimulation (M.M.S.A.) by means of a set of microholes on the surface of microstimulators located in Icoone® treatment probes. The micro-stimulators rotate back and forth to precisely and effectively stimulate the entire skin surface, reaching its smallest parts and generating up to 21 600 micro-stimulations per minute.
The stimulating effect takes place on 3 surfaces at the same time: 2 independent, motorized microstimulators that move simultaneously in the same area, complementing their action and generating tissue gymnastics with a firming effect, and 1 central chamber located between the microstimulators, which affects the adipose tissue more deeply. Therefore, the Roboderm® technology makes it possible to triple the stimulation area, resulting in deeper and more effective skin stimulation.

The operating principle of Icoone®, and thus the Roboderm patent, is based on a thorough understanding of connective tissue structure and skin structure. Icoone® was created thanks to the latest discoveries of prof. J.C. Gimberteau in the field of leather. His research assumes the existence of the so-called the MCDAS system, i.e. the Multimicrovacolar Collagen Absorption System. Based on this theory, we assume that there is no clear demarcation or layering between individual tissues. All structures are connected with each other through a network of fibers, between which free spaces called microvacuoles are formed. These fibers are composed mainly of collagen, elastin and, to a small extent, of lipids.
In addition, proteoglycans are attached to collagen fibers, which show a strong hydrophilicity, thus causing the binding of water molecules inside the microvacuoles. Such structure ensures free movement of individual structures in relation to each other, as well as expansion and compression of the microcellular spheres during compression. It is visible, for example, when a skin fold is pinched, which returns to its original form when released. The younger the skin, i.e. the more elastic the fibers, the faster the fold returns. The conducted research inspired the design of the device.
